# Fishing ## Fishing in Vulpgard Fishing is currently in Vulpgard, but eventually this activity will be done in other areas as well. Gameplay is shown the video below: {% embed url="" %} ## Fishing rods There are 6 types of fishing rods that can be used in the game and are [In-Game items](/gameplay/in-game-items.md). (currently just on Polygon).

#### **Bonuses - explained** **Cooldown:** When you get stung by a bee, you're unable to fish for a period of time. Some fishing rods reduce the time of a cooldown, and the Ancient Rod makes you immune to the Bee Sting. **Fishing reel:** Once you've caught a fish, you start to reel it in. The Fishing Reel Speed bonuses reduce the time which take you to collect your fish, by increasing the "reel speed". ## Competitive fishing We have done many fishing competitions with a live Leaderboard of winners:
